Sew on your own and together
Classes and sewing circles: learn hand quilting, sew memory quilts
I’d love to show you how much joy there is in old techniques. Around a table with other women and a cup of coffee, and later online too, at your own pace.

To be honest, this is still in the works
I’m preparing the classes and sewing circles right now. Dates, places and prices aren’t set yet. If you join the waitlist, I’ll write to you as soon as things get started. Signing up doesn’t commit you to anything.
No dates yet. The waitlist is open.
My favorite program
Memory quilts and Quilts without the math
Do you have fabrics that mean a lot to you and want to sew something from them yourself? Then this is the course for you. “Without the math” means we don’t calculate block sizes or draw up plans. We cut, arrange, look and sew freely.
The idea comes from the quilters of Gee’s Bend, Alabama, who have been sewing quilts from work clothes and small pieces of fabric for generations, freely and without patterns. I’m inspired by them and by what I’ve sewn myself from worn shirts, blouses and pajamas.
I’m planning it as a self-paced course with videos in German. If you’re on the waitlist, you’ll be the first to hear when it starts.

Advice by video call
Working on a project of your own and stuck on one part? Tell me what’s going on, and we’ll see whether a video call would help. A consultation by video call costs 30 euros.

I like free-form design and every technique that has to do with hand sewing and the sewing machine.
Who you’ll learn from
I like learning from the best myself
I’ve been piecing and quilting for more than 15 years. I took classes with Sarah Fielke in Den Bosch in 2024 and 2025, sewed my first art quilt in the Vignettes Quilt Along by Heidi Parkes in 2021, and took a class with Andrea of Quiltmanufaktur in 2022.
I’ve taught before, too. When I teach, I hand out little idea books with my logo. And with my “Kaffeeplausch mit Caro” (a coffee chat with Caro), I regularly went live on YouTube and Instagram.
